Several schools were out for spring break this week, but there were some highlights. Ithica College gave a quick summary of Counting Crows’ new release, Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings. Emerson College posted a passel of new artist interviews and reviewed Destroyer’s Trouble in Dreams (which Carleton College featured two weeks ago). New reviews and interviews abound, but there was no overlapping buzz this week. Interesting tidbits: Brown University’s WBRU says it was the first radio station in the country to play Death Cab for Cutie’s new single “I Will Possess Your Heart” from their album Narrow Stairs slated to release in May. Also, a Swarthmore College newspaper column says Vampire Weekend is overrated.
